Well I finally have something to write about. I am so proud of my kids and their significant others. They all had a dream and actually acted on it. The outcome: My daughter, her husband and their one year old boy have started businesses from their homes, leased out their town home for the upcoming year and will be living in the Dominican Republic, Turkey and Europe. My sons were sick of the snow and cold in Minnesota so decided to move to Ukiah, California. My younger son has moved, gotten a job and an apartment already (after only 2 weeks) and my older son will soon join him. My older son’s girlfriend wanted to study abroad and is now studying in Florence, Italy.
We’ve all had dreams and have wondered “what if?”. Congratulations to all of them for having the strength to leave what they have become accustomed to and venturing into the unknown, for pulling up their roots and just “going for it” . I will miss them all very much, but will be comforted in knowing that they are happy and following their dreams.
